This selenite egg is approximately 6cm tall and 4cm in diameter, carved from the milky, luminous selenite that comes from the mountains of Morocco. The egg is one of the oldest symbols in the craft — the cosmic egg, the world egg, the form that contains everything before it unfolds. In the witch's year, the egg is associated with Ostara and the spring equinox: the moment when potential becomes movement, when what has been held in the dark begins to stir.
